TopLine is a family of hand held devices aimed at mobile applications where data capture and wireless connectivity to one or more remote databases is essential to customer service. With credit card and check reader options combined with a high quality LCD display and touchscreen, the unit can be used to capture financial transactions and communicate these directly to the central or local, financial database.

The unit can also have an embedded barcode reader and has multiple connection ports such as USB and RS 232 which can be used to connect other peripherals such as a belt mounted receipt printer. A wide area connection option via GSM/GPRS or CDMA complements the standard WiFi and Bluetooth connectability functions.

Always UP technology ensures that the displayed data view by the user is independent of the physical orientation of the unit. For example, if TopNote is turned 90 degrees the displayed data also turns 90 degrees.
