About Above-Net
Above-Net is an Engineering company that provides turnkey solutions in Industrial IoT monitoring, large systems integration, industrial network communication, automation and mobility for critical applications. We specialize in remote IoT monitoring and telemetry solutions, rental of robust mobile equipment and network infrastructure in industrial environments, technical consulting and projects.
In July 2001, Above-Net Soluções em Convergência was born, a company with a team of engineers with the pioneering vision of providing data, voice and video solutions in corporate networks.
In that same year, Above-Net became the first distributor of Moxa Technologies in Latin America, launching at the time, a line of multi-serial boards and converters aimed at industrial applications in Brazil.
Still in 2002, when it began distributing voice gateways in Brazil, Above-Net was a pioneer in the implementation of private Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions, installing more than 600 points in Brazil at the end of the same year.
Always focused on customer service, Above-Net gained its first MTSC Certification (Moxa Technical Support Center) in 2003 and was the first distributor in Latin America to receive this rigorous seal of technical quality from the manufacturer. This certification was created to ensure that all customers, worldwide, have up-to-date technical support and responsive service while minimizing reliance on factory solutions across the entire product line. In order to obtain this certificate, it is necessary to attend an annual course given by specialized engineers from the factory and also pass a battery of rigorous practical and theoretical exams.
In subsequent years, with the growth and development of the industrial and infrastructure area, Above-Net Soluções Industriais emerged. Within the range of solutions, other major global manufacturers have joined the portfolio, such as Oring, Kyland, 3onedata, and Winmate,
Quality solutions require quality support. For this reason, Above-Net has always invested in training and certifications for its staff. The company won several awards, with emphasis on the FIRST PLACE in the MTSC certification (MOXA Technical Support Center) held in Brea in the United States among all worldwide distributors. Above-Net technical officers won first place in 2010 and 2012, as well as seventh place overall in 2011.
These awards demonstrate the high technical level of the Engineering and Support team, which has high expertise in networks and data communication. This is the company's differential in relation to its competitors with direct and active participation from specification (engineering level) to advanced technical support to its customers. The team is made up of up-to-date and extremely qualified professionals, able to offer technical consulting services, installation, configuration, maintenance, network auditing, industrial connectivity, IoT monitoring and telemetry, system integration, serial and Modbus networks, in addition to robust mobility. .
Among mobility solutions, we offer a complete line of robust and industrial Smartphones, Tablets, and Data Collectors, ready for various applications, from the sales force, and logistics to the factory floor, in addition to military and agricultural applications. All equipment is resistant, with flexible operating systems (Android and Windows) and data capture interfaces (RFID and 1D/2D Reader). Systems added to equipment, such as Mobile Manager and PTT/IP make up the range of solutions.
In 2009, Above-Net reached the milestone of 1,000 self-manufactured tablets sold in the US for business aviation applications.
In 2011, Above-Net launched its Bridgemanager M2M remote monitoring communication management system compatible with the equipment it represented in Brazil. Bridgemanager made it possible to manage remote communication equipment for supervisory systems through cellular data communication, guaranteeing stability and transparent access to all of the client's remote equipment.
In 2012, analyzing the market demand for integrated remote monitoring of systems and equipment in applications that require 24x7 monitoring in places devoid of Internet communication by operational control centers (CCOs), Above-Net pioneered the development of its platform of Industrial IoT monitoring.
In 2014, Above-Net launched Bridgemeter, the Industrial IoT (Internet of Things) platform capable of collecting information from various equipment, sensors, PLCs and motors, managing alarms and smart rules, predictive analysis and even sending information to other systems. Bridgemeter's concept is unique as it allows for operation in integrated layers, offering customers a collaborative infrastructure in a turnkey model.
The Bridgemeter gained market and scale and is used in sanitation, transport, energy, agribusiness, health, clinical engineering, and even by multinational machine manufacturers in the OEM model.
In 2019, with its expertise in the area of systems integration, Above-Net launched Bridgecare, an integration platform for data and legacy health systems with specialized services for the implementation of EMPI (Enterprise Master Patient Index), with a database of data capable of maintaining consistent and unique information on any patient in a healthcare organization.
In 2021, Bridgecare reached the mark of integrating over 70 systems, more than 25 million patients in its base, registering more than 190 million consultations, the largest database in Latin America.
Founded in 2001, over the past 17 years, we have participated in medium and large projects in various segments and areas. We have over 800 clients in our portfolio.
